Chapter 11
Gathered from Washington’s NO LIMIT! Mathematics and technology project, the author delineates how schools can provide professional development both online and on-site. One of the things that schools must do first is establish a network learning community, where teachers collaborate and solve problems related to technology integration. Using the latest interactive communication technologies facilitates for the network learning community to collaborate and learn online.
Chapter 12
In Chapter 12, the author shares a summary of major strategies to promote technology integration based on a meta-analysis of over 50 case studies. The implementation process of technology integration involves three levels. Within each level, it is important for professional development to be sustained along with need to document and evaluate the process. The levels are: initiation, implementation, and impact.


Based on the findings of the Washington’s NO LIMIT! Mathematics and technology project, the author shares how schools can provide professional development both online and on-site.
